Membership Drive Planning Template
Most membership drives fail the same way: lots of enthusiasm, a table at one community event, no follow-up, no new members. A drive is a pipeline — a specific goal, named audiences, assigned tactics, and disciplined follow-up. This template gives it structure a volunteer team can actually run.
No email required. Use it, share it, adapt it for your club.

The follow-up cadence
- Within 48 hours of a visit: personal thank-you from the member who invited them, plus one specific next invitation
- Within one week: invite to a service project or social — something with a job or a story, not just another meeting
- After a second touch: the membership conversation — costs, expectations, and how to join
- After joining: start the new member onboarding checklist immediately

Prospects still warm for next time
Tip: Prospects will look your club up before they visit. If the website shows last year's officers and a dead calendar, the drive is leaking before it starts.
Templates are the workaround. Here's the fix.
