Delete your MemberDay account
If you use the MemberDay mobile app or member portal, you can request that your app account and the personal data associated with it be permanently deleted. You do not need to reinstall the app or sign in to submit a request on this page.
How to request account deletion
Use the form below or email team@memberday.com from the email address linked to your MemberDay account. Include your full name and the club or organization name shown in the app so we can locate your account.
You do not need to sign in, reinstall the MemberDay app, or contact your club administrator first — this page is available to anyone who wants to request deletion of their MemberDay app account and associated data.
What we delete
When we process an approved account deletion request, we permanently delete the personal data tied to your MemberDay app account, including:
- Your account credentials and login identifiers
- Profile information (name, email address, phone number, photo, and directory fields)
- Member portal and mobile app preferences and notification settings
- Messages and content you created in MemberChat and other in-app communication tools
- RSVPs, volunteer sign-ups, survey responses, and other activity linked to your account
- Files and uploads stored under your personal account
- Device tokens and session data used for mobile app notifications
Deletion is permanent. Disabling, freezing, or deactivating an account does not satisfy this request — we remove the account and associated personal data as described above.
What we may retain
Some information may be kept after your account is deleted when we have a legitimate need to do so, such as:
- Financial and payment records — transaction history processed through your club’s payment provider may be retained by the club or payment processor for tax, accounting, and legal compliance.
- Club operational records — anonymized or de-identified attendance, meeting minutes, or historical club records that your club is required to maintain may remain in the club’s account without personally identifying you.
- Security and fraud prevention — limited logs needed to protect our systems and users.
- Legal obligations — data we are required to keep by law or valid legal process.

Processing time
We review and complete verified deletion requests within a reasonably quick period of time — typically within 30 days of confirming your identity. We will email you at the address on file when your request has been processed or if we need additional information.
If your club has an active subscription and you are the only administrator, we may need to coordinate with your organization before closing the account. We will explain any additional steps when we respond to your request.
Before you delete
- Export any personal records you want to keep. After deletion, we cannot restore your account or data.
- If you only want to leave one club but keep your login for another organization that uses MemberDay, contact us — you may not need full account deletion.
- Cancel any recurring payments through your club or payment provider separately; account deletion does not automatically cancel external subscriptions.
